A Muslim Case Against Ron Paul

Friday February 15, 2008

Categories: Ron Paul

paul2.jpgGod-o-Meter hadn't realized there was a groundswell of Muslim support for Ron Paul, but that is the case, according to Ali Eteraz at altmuslim.com.

I have noticed that the amount of fervor that Ron Paul has inspired among Muslims has been far greater than the fervor Nader inspired. This has to do with the fact that in addition to his foreign policy positions, Paul is also religious, and socially conservative. I’m thinking that Muslims get way too worked up about conservative men who criticize Israel (thus Pat Buchanan’s popularity). This, probably, has something to do with the fact that according to surveys vast numbers of Muslims — not including me please — are actually more socially conservative than Evangelical Christians.

Paul, therefore, has been turned into the perfect candidate for a large number of Muslims

Eteraz spends the rest of the piece rebutting the Muslim pro-Paul crowd. God-o-Meter thinks he makes a convincing case.

As "A Saudi" stated, this support isn't due from just Ron being a religous man. Actually, Ron doesn't have a desire to impose his religous beliefs on a federal level.

I think its the general message of freedom and the end of arrogant foreign policy that has united such a diverse group of people....without having to pander.

Liberty is a powerful message.

If you believe in the constitution.
If you believe in freedom of religious.
Than doesn't matter if you are Christan or Muslims.
If Ron Paul foreign policy positions can stop the war and stop further lost of life. It is a good policy.
I do not see anything wrong with Muslim supporting for Ron Paul to stop the war...

I think Ron Paul is a great man. My dad told me I should vote for him. I am having second thoughts, however. Also, I am wondering why you don't have Alan Keyes on your List?

Despite his daughter's troubles Keyes has to be the best that there is. He believes in the same grassroots principles as Ron Paul but he even takes it a step further. He believes in returning this country back to its normal state.

In fact, I wish I would have known more about Alan Keyes even before I first voted for George Bush II.

I think more people should be voting for Alan Keyes. He is determined to get in and he should have every right to become president because he wants America Back!

Ummm, I'm sure him wanting to bring our troops home from Iraq immediately has NOTHING to do with it.

VOTE RON PAUL !!!!!
He is a true American, He is a person not blood related to the rest of the jerks ruining our country currently. He appeals to everyone since he tells the truth, tells the story that needs to be told and holds no punches back when it comes to exposing the communist element that really is controlling America.

I have never cared before so much about whether I voted Democrat or Republican and this time around when I wanted to make a stand in a particular group I find myself deciding to vote Independent. I guess it is in my blood to be independent as my founding ancestors I find voted WHIG when the Dems and Repubs were planningto destroy America with the civilwar. (Hey, they did destroy it to - just like the Dems and Repubs of today) - Nothing was solved, slavery just moved to the next impoverished country and continues today.

VOTE RON PAUL !!!!
