bill.jpgThe New York Times caucus blog reports on two more visits to black churches from Bill Clinton in Maryland and Washington, DC, which hold their primaries tomorrow. That follows the former president’s visits to three black churches in California last weekend. God-o-Meter notes that Clinton has long been well-known for speaking from pulpits of black churches, and can understand the need to do so now more than ever, given the criticism he’s endured for racially-tinged statements about Barack Obama. But given that Barack Obama is beating Hillary Clinton 8-to-1 among black voters and that Hillary’s base of support is working class white voters, God-o-Meter asks why Bill and Hill aren’t doing more appearances at white churches. That’s where their supporters are, no?
