On The Religious Left, Great Expectations
The first priorities for Barack Obama's administration will be the economy and a variety of foreign policy issues. But the burgeoning religious left, which worked so hard to get Obama elected, expects some movement on its issues, including a robust White House office of faith-based initiatives, pove

Howard Dean's Vindication
God-o-Meter wrote a piece for today's Roll Call on the vindication of Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean's much-derided 50-State Strategy, which is largely about reaching out to the nation's more religious voters in the red states:

More Innacurate Faith Storylines From the Media

It is obvious now that Mrs. Clinton is not a matured politician. She and her campaign team have exhibited too much hatred for Obama in an attempt to score cheap political points. This political tussle is not about “white or black”, it is about a leader that can unite America and the world at large.
America is a mega country made up of several races and people of different colors who have contributed economically, politically, socially, scientifically and technologically to the growth and advancement of the United States. Therefore, it is only a leader that is neutral, matured in reasoning and focused that is needed to lead the country.
The style adopted by Clinton in her campaign reveal that she do not have enough “political maturity” to handle sensitive issues. Obama exhibits humility, maturity, intelligence and superior political will to unite Americans and the world.
It is my prayer that democrats should not make the mistake of fielding Clinton as their presidential candidate. If they do, the republicans will sweep the polls with ease.
Clinton should stop banking on her color to win the nomination. God is neither white nor black. Enough of the color-bar stuff. After all, all Americans are immigrants. America greatness today is as a result of the collective efforts of all the ethnic nationalities, colors and races who are domiciled in the United States.
Obama is a superior leader compared to Mrs. Clinton, any day. God bless America.
