James Carville: Richardson = Judas

carville.jpgJust because the Democrats have become a lot more open about citing the Bible doesn’t mean all the references are positive. Here’s James Carville, longtime advisor to the Clintons, reacting New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson’s Obama endorsement in the New York TImes:

“An act of betrayal,” said James Carville, an adviser to Mrs. Clinton and a friend of Mr. Clinton.
“Mr. Richardson’s endorsement came right around the anniversary of the day when Judas sold out for 30 pieces of silver, so I think the timing is appropriate, if ironic,” Mr. Carville said, referring to Holy Week.

On The Religious Left, Great Expectations
The first priorities for Barack Obama's administration will be the economy and a variety of foreign policy issues. But the burgeoning religious left, which worked so hard to get Obama elected, expects some movement on its issues, including a robust White House office of faith-based initiatives, pove

Howard Dean's Vindication
God-o-Meter wrote a piece for today's Roll Call on the vindication of Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean's much-derided 50-State Strategy, which is largely about reaching out to the nation's more religious voters in the red states: Years before Barack Obama showed that a liberal Demo

James Carville is an infant. His ongoing association with the Clintons should tell us something is amiss with the Clintons. Carville will not even rank as a trivia question in the future. Bill Richardson’s accomplishments and contributions will have a lasting positive effect on our planet. (to say nothing of his 4 Nobel Peace Prize nominations)

The Clintons and their surrogates seem to have decided that they would rather mortally wound Obama and Company to insure a McCain victory so they can have anothe shot in four years. Why else would she say she and McCain were qualified to be commander in chief but not Obama? Why else would Carville be this ugly toward Gov. Richardson? I now accept that personal ambition, not public service, motivate these people. Obama in ’08. I am completely unconflicted by that choice…thank you James Carville.
