Doesn't this violate the separation of Church and State? When GOP PAC groups used such phrases an "Tradition Christian Values" and "Christian Rights" I warned my pastor that if he started to pass them out I would report it to the IRS and they would be investigated and possibly lose their Non profit status.

John McCain is trying to scare people into voting for him. If Obama did the same, the Religious Right would be up in arms. SHAME on McCain!

John McCain is pandering to Christians in 2008 when in 2000 he called Pat Robertson and the late Jerry Falwell, "Agents of Intolerance." I have never heard McCain used the name of Jesus once, and Christians think he shares our views. It's not enough to know what someone thinks about an issue, or what he says in speeches, what is it that McCain is going to do for "Traditional Christian Values?" With regards to abortion and gay marriage, he believes that these are issues best handled by the states, thereby allowing him to wash his hands of these issues, while looking good to Christians. For what though? Nothing. He can appoint conservative judges, but if these issues came up to the Supreme Courts, they'll push them back down to the states. And McCain will come out smelling like a rose, when in fact he did nothing.

Don't fall for it.

look John McCain believe life begins at conception. He also believes in freedom of speech. That is more than i can say for Obama/. I think even Christians need to wake up. There are more things important. Or one day we might wake up and not have religious freedom anymore. Just read up on Odingo in the Washington times. That is a cred. news source

christians should form their own party and get out of the republican party. Then they could all vote for their flat earth ideas and let the country get on with a secular form of government without their backward bronze age agenda.

Abortion and gay rights are issues that SHOULD be addressed in each state (re: James comment). The Federal government has usurped far too many states rights and interferes with issues that should be left to the individual states to decide.

John mccain does not even go to church. so religious issues are just a joke with him. Maybe he stopped going when you was having the affair with cindy while he was married to carole. Evang are the biggest hipocricts that exist. The Lord said you will know by the fruit they bear.

And the fruit of the evangelicals is poison to rational thought and actions.
