How We Can Help Our Economy

posted by chadhovind

George Washington died the same way America’s economy is dying: he was bled to death by his doctors. As George’s symptoms got worse, his doctors siphoned out another pint of blood–believing his bad blood was the problem. With every pint [...]

Those Three Little Words That Strengthen a Marriage… “Can’t Afford It.”

posted by chadhovind

Four powerful words: “We Can’t Afford It.” These are words that are lobotomized out of the vocabulary of insatiable materialism and politicians. Instead of admitting that we as a nation can’t afford helpful, but expensive programs; we keep spending. (Both Democrats and [...]

Washington’s Debt Solution Brought to You by Bozo the Clown.

If Bozo the clown offered financial advice, you’d consider yourself foolish for taking it. This week our education leaders lined up like Larry, Moe, and Curly to offer three equally clownish solutions.  We had clowns coming out of the white [...]

Breakfast With Mike Huckabee
I've pastored churches that had "red-state" leanings as well as "blue-state" leanings.  I've had the opportunity to meet folks like Mike Huckabee and Jimmy Carter.    I had breakfast with Mike Huckabee this year after the two of us were both speaking at a pastor's conference.   I was speaking on

How We Can Help Our Economy
George Washington died the same way America's economy is dying: he was bled to death by his doctors. With every pint pumped from his veins, he surprisingly --at least to them- got
