Please contact your US Reps. and ask them to support HR 808, legislation to create a cabinet-level US Dept. of Peace. This department would provide the foundation for a systemic change in the violent culture we live in as well as provide a strong voice for peaceful conflict resolution within our global community. The establishment of a DOP would be the beginning of a shift towards peaceful coexistence here and abroad and establish peace as an organizing principle for the US.
