Verse of the Day: "Here I Am"
Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry for help, and he will say, Here I am. If you remove the yoke from among you, the pointing of the finger, the speaking of evil, if you offer your food to the hungry and satisfy the needs of the afflicted, then your light shall rise in the darkness and your gloom be like the noonday.

"If" you remove the yoke from among you." Isaiah is talking about the yoke of sin. About not just giving enough of yourself to make you feel good. Isaiah is not a good book to prove that Liberal and Progressive ideology has any worth to it at all. Read verse 13 . . . "and if you honor it by NOT going your own way and not doing as you please . . ." "Doing as you please," is the very definition of Liberal and Progressive ideology. Isaiah is writing that God's people should not do that.

Cherrypicking scripture to disprove ideology it tasteless. I love the Whole book of Isaiah and happen to this verse is very timely. Don't like a progressive and loving faith- go to another part of this site.
