Attack Iran, With Words(REUEL MARC GERECHT, New York Times) "FOR those who believe - as I do - that the clerics who rule Iran must never have an arsenal of nuclear weapons, the United States' course of action ought to be clear: The Bush administration should advocate direct, unconditional talks between Washington and Tehran. RE: Iran & Nukes

Being a Republican who would love to see the US completely disband our military & offer ourselves as honest servants of the world we seem to love to oppress, it would seem that Iran is well within their bounds to have Nuclear Weapons, if they so choose.

Our Nuclear Policies seem most dangerous to the continued health & existence of the world. We seem to tout, as fact, that we can keep the world safe from Nukes. Yet, are we not the ones who have littered the world with more Depleted Uranium than all other nations combined? Then we say that our "tank killers" & "bunker busters" are not actually Nukes, because DU is not really a danger. This makes me cry...

How long will we continue to believe that "bombs", rather than genuine Love, are the answer? Our "summer" may indeed be past; our "harvest" may be over; and, "we" may not be saved.
