Thank you- That gave me peace from some turmoil to think that I can ask myself, did I do some good works for Him today? Maybe I can measure myself by that and not by where others say I should be. I had been beating myself up wondering why I have to be so much like I am- and of course that is the answer- I am what He made me. I work with homeless and low income women and was recently attacked by colleagues for seeming too liberal, too much an advocate, though that is my stated job as a caseworker. I internalized this for days feeling condemned and misunderstood, but I should be used to this by now. It helps to take in the Word, which I do not do enough of!
