TobyMac's latest studio album, 2007's Portable Sounds, debuted at #10 on the Billboard Top 200, making it his highest solo debut ever. In addition to sold out tour dates, numerous Dove nominations, and back-to-back radio hits, he was named the GMA Dove Award's 2008 Artist of the Year and R&R's 2007 Christian CHR Artist of the Year. TobyMac was also nominated for a 2007 American Music Award as Favorite Inspirational Artist.
