He's recorded 17 albums that have sold over 10 million units, with 2 Platinum and 7 Gold records, and scored 44 #1 hits. He also has five Grammys.
He and his wife MaryBeth founded Shaohannah's Hope, to help families overcome the financial burdens when adopting children, and they themselves adopted three girls from China. This past May they lost their youngest, Maria, in a tragic accident.
Steven returned to the stage on July 11, and this October, he heads out on The United Tour, with fellow CCM legend Michael W. Smith.
