If you've been to a Texas Rangers game recently and wondered about the song playing when outfielder Josh Hamilton takes the field, wonder no more.
The song is "Saved the Day," from Phillips, Craig and Deans' 2006 INO Records' release Top of My Lungs.
Hamilton recently told the Fort Worth Star Telegram, "So many people have asked about it. The Rangers get e-mails all the time asking 'What song was that?' I've had a lot of people say they love the song."
Currently leading the Major Leagues in RBIs, Hamilton, dubbed the Rangers' "Miracle Man," believes the song reflects his strong faith in Jesus Christ and in the transforming power of the gospel.

What a blessing it was to get to see the real Josh Hamilton last night watching the All Star Home Run Derby. I did not realize he was a Christian, but felt that God was working through him as he told the entire 54,000 plus that were at Yankee Stadium and the millions watching that Jesus Christ is his Savior, and turned his life around so quickly.
God Bless you Josh!
I really love that story!!!!!!!
I was driving to my work site on july 17th and I was listening to K-Love and I heard the Josh Hamilton story.
I called my son shorty after hearding the story on the radio. Because the night before my son shared with me the same home-run story about Josh Hamilton, expect he left out one detail, the home run hitter is a Christian.
A few years ago my son got hook on drugs (meth). Within no time he lost his job, quit school, and his wife divorce him. With tons of prayer and the jail minsitry my son got clean-up. Thank you, Jesus. I'm truly gald Josh spoke out concerning his faith, also I am Praying that Josh Hamiltion's story will inspire my son to find a church home. Glory to God.
