With the release of Digital Praise’s Guitar Praise, the Christian version of Guitar Hero, set to release next week, MTV Multiplayer, a blog from MTV News and MTV Games, offers up a review of the product.
As you all know, I’m digital game ignorant, but from what I can tell, reviewer Tracey John finds the game strikingly similar in quality and play to, guess what? Guitar Hero!
Which is a good thing for those living in the parallel Christian universe, who want to avoid the nitty gritty of mainstream rock images on other guitar games.
Another post on the MTV Multiplayer post, blogger Stephen Totilo says that an expansion pack for Guitar Praise is scheduled for early next year, and will include Stryper, whose music wasn’t included in this release due to some legal hoops that needed to be jumped through quicker than their label could, well, jump.
