Award winning CCM artist Michelle Tumes has been signed to compose and perform the original score to the feature film, "No Greater Love." The film is the project of Coram Deo Studios and will be distributed by Carmel Entertainment Group, the group that also distributed the surprise box office hit, "Fireproof."
Tumes burst on the Christian music scene with her 1998 debut album, Listen, which she followed with two more chart-topping albums. In 2001, ASCAP named Tumes its Songwriter of the Year, and in 2004 Tumes teamed with Susan Ashton and Christine Dente to record the widely popular Lost in Wonder: Voices of Worship. More recently, Tumes teamed with her husband, Doug, to produce her fourth solo album.
While the singer/songwriter has had a career performing live, Tumes has also had an interest in writing for the screen. In addition to her work with "No Greater Love," Tumes wrote the song, "Fly To Your Heart," which will be featured in the upcoming Pixar animated movie, "Tinker Bell."
