Turning the Tables event raises money to save Franklin Theater

posted by Joanne Brokaw | 12:17pm Thursday October 9, 2008

TammyTrentTobyMac.jpgTammy Trent, tobyMac, Michael W. Smith, American Idol finalist Melinda Doolittle, and Tennessee Titans players Erron Kinney, Daniel Loper and Benji Olson were among some of the celebrities who turned out for “Turning The Tables,” a benefit dinner presented by Southern Exposure Magazine designed to raise money for the Save The Franklin Theatre project.
But the celebs weren’t there to eat. They were there to serve.
The event was held September 29 at the Boxwood Bistro, located in front of the Factory at Franklin, where celebrities tended bar, served food and entertained. Tammy Trent and tobyMac (pictured), served gazpacho.
Save The Franklin Theatre is an effort on behalf of the Heritage Foundation to reclaim, restore and renovate the 71-year old venue on Franklin, Tennessee’s Main Street.

Lousie, if you would like to send me a press kit or news via the normal publicity venues, feel free. Otherwise, this is kind of just spam.
