Radio & Records (R&R) has named rock artist PIllar as most played artist on the R&R Christian Rock Chart.
“This is really incredible news,” says Rob Beckley, Pillar’s founding member and frontman. “We just celebrated our 10th No. 1 with ‘Turn It Up’ a few weeks ago and were really shocked to hear about the year-end listing – that’s amazing! We really appreciate everyone at radio and media, and we especially appreciate our fans for their ongoing support. We definitely don’t take any of this lightly.” This year the band also celebrated its first CHR Top 5 with “Smiling Down.”

That’s a great kudo for the band, who lost two members this year when Lester Estelle and Michael Wittig left the band to focus on a pop project. Beckley and longtime band member Noah Henson said Pillar will go on, and this just confirms it.
