I did a story for the Christian Examiner on Christian music artist Bryan Duncan. The article is up on their website right now.
It was interesting to talk to Duncan. He's an artist who spent years and years traveling the country and talking about God's grace, and it wasn't until he lost everything that he actually understood what that meant. He told me, "I preached to thousands and lost my own soul."
You can read the whole story at the Christian Examiner website.

Bryan Duncan has an indescribable edge to his music that draws you in. I love his clever, multilayered tracks, such as "Yes I Will," but his version of "My Grownup Christmas List" tears me up every time. (That can be "tear" as in "rip," or "tear" as in "cry.") And "Bryan's Hymn" is one of the most beautiful love songs to God that I've ever heard.
