Dove Award-winning music duo Angelo and Veronica are scheduled to perform at the “Celebration of Change” concert on January 17, 2009 at Constitution Hall in Washington, DC, as part of President-elect Barack Obama’s inaugural celebration.
In addition their own six albums, the pair has sung background vocals on CDs by Michael Bolton, Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, Kirk Whalum and others, and they have collaborated with hit songwriters such as Fred Hammond, J. Moss and Percy Bady. During the past fifteen years, Angelo & Veronica have made numerous television appearances, including BET’s highly rated “Bobby Jones Gospel,” and have toured around the world with top gospel artists including Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, CeCe Winans, Karen Clark and the Clark Sisters, Vicki Winans, and Donnie McClurkin.
Later this year, the husband and wife duo will release their newest album, Still in Love, a collection of songs celebrating marriage and family. Veronica will also release Atrèvete a Soñar, her debut solo Spanish language CD, produced by Isaac Sakko, Richard Marcell and Angelo Petrucci.
