Newsboys kick of “Join The Tribe” tour in February

newsboys.jpgOn February 20, the newsboys will kicks off their 35-city “Join The Tribe” tour, featuring DecembeRadio, VOTA (formerly known as Casting Pearls), and Bread of Stone. Also on the tour is Jody Davis, who has re-joined newsboys after a five-year hiatus.
The tour will support Global Tribe in its quest to fight physical and spiritual poverty.
The newsboys are releasing their 15th studio studio album, In The Hands of God, in May. The first single and title track from the album will hit radio stations at the end of January.

I saw the Newsboys concert in Thousand Oaks, California. Only bummer was that they changed singers. New singer is from another popular Christian band-can’t remember their name or his name. He sounded pretty good. I really liked the opening acts Bread of Stone and VODA.
