The band used to be known as Casting Pearls, but with a new label, new management and a new band member, they thought a new band name was in order. Besides, "with Casting Crowns having such a name in the Christian music industry, we felt at this point being named anything that starts with Casting may cause some confusion," jokes VOTA frontman Bryan Olesen. "We felt it best to set ourselves apart from the possible puzzlement and start fresh."
The free download is "I'll Go" from the band's self-titled debut releasing today on INO Records.
