I think it is great that Adam has 6 of the top 10 selling songs of the year according to itunes. I am also shocked that Adam's Mad World is the #1 selling single of the year. He has sold more than any other artist including Carrie Underwood. WoW! Now that is news worth writing about. I think it is also great that Google reported that Adam Lambert had over 6.1 million searches this past month also topping artists like Underwood. It was sad to see that the other idol contestants did not have enough searches for them to report on individually and instead grouped them all together and reported that combined they had less than 1/2 a million.
PhDude, well maybe with that info he will win. But I'm going out on a limb and predicting Kris.

I think Adam is great but I think he might be too ... er ... creative ... for some of the more conservative viewers. He doesn't have to worry. He'll have a fantastic career with or without Idol.

Yes! maybe the winner will be Kris or Adam
I would like to think that Allison could be in the three finalist but... i don't know...it's a little bit hard.
But i still keep a hope about this last thing!! XD!
I believe that you are wrong to think that Kris or Danny will pick up all of each other's votes. Adam's strongest support demographically is in the Bible belt, surprisingly. Sixty five percent are women. A lot are like me, in my thirties and respectful of his talent and an admirer of his looks and sexuality as a performer. Women my age do not like the other two boys. Adam has that Elvis appeal, the others do not. I am hoping that the most talented person wins and by every measure, that person is Adam. Every measurable activity has Adam so far ahead that the others including Kris and Danny are in his dust, as they should be.t6
Kerry, I totally agree that talent/industry/musicianship wise, Adam is far ahead. But the feedback I'm getting from readers and people who have been voting leads me to believe that voters who support Kris or Danny may not vote for Adam if Kris or Danny get voted off. Kris has really proven himself to be a creative artist, not as showy as Adam, but talented nonetheless. I think he's the dark horse in the competition. Just working a few hunches. :)

I agree that Adam will have a great career regardless of the outcome. I'd almost go so far to say that at this point American Idol needs Adam more than Adam needs American Idol.
I have to be honest. I do think Adam is talented. But for me, anyway, he's a bit too showy. Paula compared him to Mick Jagger and Steven Tyler, and I think that's a very apt description. Problem is I'm not a fan of either. Respect them as artists? Absolutely. But I'm a sucker for a guy with a guitar, which is probably why I'm backing Kris Allen, LOL.

WOW! I thot Simon would crush him with the way the panel was going!! but DANG.... he liked it too. I liked it...
I think Adam has already established that he'll be making and selling records soon. But I'm with Joanne on this one... I'm pulling for Kris. It's easier to connect with him. He's the "every man" (in my opinion) of the competition... and surely without IDOL he would still just be a great singer and a good man and a good husband. But I REALLY want him to have more... to have the whole package....

Candy, I totally agree - they were in the zone. I was excited to see what they'd do with this genre. Not loving Adam's rock rendition; he could have really pulled off a rat pack standard. Danny surprised me tonight - but I'm sticking by my Kris prediction, LOL.
PS: did you get snow in Colorado? I have a friend out that way and I thought she said it was snowing today ...

Sure did snow here yesterday! and it was melted by the afternoon. but it was a hard snow! can't wait for tomorrow's results... it might be Matt and Allison in the bottom... not for any other reason than... someone has to win. and they can't all win....
Go Kris! Can't wait to see his performance, I'm so happy for him.
Danny is Kris' biggest competition (to a finals place) so part of me isn't terribly enthusiastic that Danny has upped his previous performances, although he is a great guy who has obviously worked hard & is very talented, so good for him. I'm in the minority but I'm not much of a fan of Danny's big vocals, I prefer Kris' softer voice (and his greater originality/creativity).
If Kris went before Danny I wouldn't vote for Danny, I'd probably vote for Adam who is my other favorite. Both of them are entertaining to watch because thyey really transform the songs that they do. I look forward to Kris & Adam's performances every week.
Adam is way above everyone else. Competition is not even close. He did the best job. I rank him #1.
Amelia, that's interesting that if Kris was voted off you'd vote for Adam. I'm kind of working some hunches here that Adam won't win because he doesn't appeal to fans of Danny, they're kind of opposites of the spectrum. But I can see how Kris fans would like Adam.
Interesting ... I might have to do a poll .... LOL
