Christian rock bands Fireflight (pictured right) and Thousand Foot Krutch (pictured below) both took home top honors in last year’s Taco Bell Feed The Beat contest. Last fall, 100 bands participated in the competition, competing for a chance to record and then have Taco Bell produce a single, gaining the bands valuable marketing support for that single. More than 180,000 fans voted on Feed the Beat’s Virtual Music Festival Web site. The interesting thing is that two of the final three bands are overtly, unashamed Christian bands.
You can get downloads from both bands at the Feed The Beat website. Fireflight’s offering up their hit song, “Unbreakable.” TFK is serving up “Bring Me To Life.”
And here’s what’s so cool about the TFK download: it’s a brand spanking new song from their upcoming album, Welcome To The Masquerade. No one has heard the song before, but you get to have a free download before the song is even released to radio! How cool is that?
You can learn more about the Taco Bell “Feed The Beat” contest on the website.
