The faith-based tween iShine tour kicks of this weekend in Lubbock, Texas, with one very unusual feature: the concerts are free.
This spring iShine tour - which featuresThe Rubyz, Mission Six, Jasmine, Logan Charles, Jamie-Grace and speaker and former Make-A-Wish child Paige Armstrong, as well as special guest performances from teen actor Luke Benward - is being sponsored by the Make-A-Wish Foundation and World Vision. That partnership has allowed tour promoters to give concert-goers free admission to all of the shows on the tour.
"These partnerships are incredibly powerful because we never wanted the cost of a ticket to prevent anyone from attending the show and hearing about their true identity," says iShine Live founder Robert Beeson in a press release.
Since iShine Ministries is a non-profit organization, there will be a love offering taken in each market.
