New Christian Music Application for the iPhone

posted by Joanne Brokaw | 11:44am Monday April 13, 2009

NRTiphoneapp.JPGNew Release Tuesday (NRT) has launched NRT Mobile, the first Christian music application for Apple’s popular iPhone and iPod Touch.
It’s basically an encyclopedia of Christian music at your fingertips, including artist info, discographies, lyrics, reviews and pictures. And it updates automatically with new releases.
Work is underway for an early summer update that will incorporate exclusive NRT content into the application, including exclusive artist interviews, articles, devotionals, music news and NRT’s popular New Christian Music PodCasts.
I admit that I don’t have an iPhone or have any idea what an application does, but those people who do assure me it’s pretty cool. You can download the application for free by visiting the New Release Tuesday website.
Visit Beliefnet’s Christian music blog, Gospel Soundcheck, daily for the latest news on your favorite Christian music artists as well as mainstream artists with ties to Christian music.
