One “Doves Super Fan” Will Get Chance To Present Award At 2009 Doves

posted by Joanne Brokaw | 1:01pm Thursday April 9, 2009

DoveAwards2009.JPGWith the Dove Awards just two weeks away tangle.com and the Gospel Music Channel are partnering in a new promotion to get fans revved up about the awards show.
Christian music fans from all over the U.S. are being asked to submit video entries on tangle.com, expressing why they should be named the “Doves Super Fan” and what is unique about their ability to help present two of the most highly anticipated Dove Awards — “New Artist of the Year” and “Artist of the Year”. Both awards will be determined by fan voting.
The “Doves Super Fan” winner will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Nashville, TN to present these awards live on stage during the 2009 Dove Awards program. Video submissions will be accepted through April 12, 2009.
I have no idea why this is being announced so late – the show is two weeks. (Who knows, maybe I missed the announcement earlier.) But if you’re creative with a video camera and are available to travel to Nashville in two weeks, give it a shot. Hey, you might end up on live TV!
For complete details, visit the Gospel Music Channel page at tangle.com.
YOU be the interviewer! Here’s your chance to ask your favorite Christian music artist a question when I head to Nashville for the 2009 Gospel Music Week. And don’t forget to follow me on Twitter!
