While the trend in Christian vacationing has seen an increase in Christian cruising, I just saw this press release for a cruise featuring The Bellamy Brothers, and it’s loaded with Country music artists.
Howard and David Bellamy, The Bellamy Brothers, have been a constant in country music for more than 30 years, with 21 singles and more than 50 hits on both the pop and country charts.
Last year, The Bellamy Brothers won Vocal Duo of the Year at the 14th annual Inspirational Country Music Awards. Their latest project, Jesus Is Coming, garnered the duo’s first Dove nominations for Country Album and Country Recorded Song (“Drug Problem”). Since 1983, the Bellamy Brothers have received 18 nominations for Vocal Duo of the Year from the Country Music Association, along with numerous nominations from the Academy of Country Music Award
One of their most famous songs, “Let Your Love Flow,” received the distinguished BMI Five Million Performance Award and was No. 68 on BMI’s Top 100 Songs of the Century. It was used last year in a really creative ad for England’s Barclay Bank.
You can find out more about the MSC Cruises’ Country Music cruise, which will stop at Caribbean ports on MSC Poesia’s 7-night, February 20, 2010, on the MSC Cruises website. In addition to The Bellamy Brothers, the cruise will feature line dancing lessons, country music karaoke, and country music performances featured during the cruise. (I don’t see a list of other artists appearing on the cruise yet.)
You can learn more about The Bellamy Brothers on their website.

Very interesting! Still 7 months to go before that Country Music Cruise. A great opportunity to meet and support the Bellamy Brothers.
