The Soul Choir, which originated in Los Angeles and is now based in Nashville, is holding auditions at St. Paul Community Church, 5035 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville (Green Hills), Tennessee.
The choir is currently auditioning for all positions, including singers/band members/sound techs, writers/arrangers and helpers/assistants. The SC Band will consist of drums, bass, keys, B-3 and guitars.
The Soul Choir ministers to prison/jail inmates, the homeless, churches, and military bases in the United States and around the world, and provides studio and live background vocals for various artists.


Since its debut at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in October 2007, The Soul Choir has shared the bill with, or sung behind artists such as: Allison Krauss, Wynonna, Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Bill Gaither, Landon Pigg, Point of Grace, Phil Stacy, Jordin Sparks, Melinda Doolittle, CeCe Winans, Sheila Walsh, Steven Curtis Chapman, and many more! The Soul Choir is also slated to release its first full CD in early 2010.
