2010 Dove Awards Date Announced – Wednesday, April 21, 2010

posted by Joanne Brokaw | 10:33am Tuesday November 10, 2009

2010DoveAwards.jpgThe date for the 2010 Dove Awards is now posted on the Gospel Music Association website, which means that despite rumors of GMAs demise, the industry event will take place in 2010.
The 41st Annual Dove Awards will take place on Wednesday, April 21, 2010. The event recognizes the best in Christian and gospel music.
From the note on the GMA website, it looks like GMA member pre-sale tickets will go on sale first, which may be part of the organization’s attempt to increase membership. RIght now, the link takes you to the 40th Annual site, but that should be updated soon with info on the event.
No dates posted yet for GMA Week, but that can’t be far behind

Just give everything to Tomlin and the Crowns……maybe throw one in for Mary Mary to appease those mainstream lovers and the gospel voters…..give up on Christian radio altogether…..and hold the entire event at Rocketown so the Renaissance doesnt have a chance to rake it all in. OH WAIT!!!!! Rocketown won’t work because they’re all of a sudden evil for allowing the wrong kind of music in……
well, I’m sure the volunteer staff at GMA will come up with something.
