Yesterday in an interview with Bob Crittenden on Faith Radio, he asked me to make a prediction about who I think might make the Top 5 on season 9.
Given the surprises last week, it’s hard to know what’s going to happen, but I felt pretty good making this prediction – and probably in this order of popularity:
1. Crystal Bowersox
2. Lee Dewyze
3. Mike Lynche
4. Siobhan Magnus
5. Tim Urban or Didi Benami
Ok, so that’s a cop out, picking two possibilities. But the reality is that just when you think a contestant has performed so badly they can’t possibly stick around another minute, they pull out a great performance. Paige Miles did it last night. Tim Urban did it last week. Didi Benami didn’t perform great last night but she’s got a lot left to show us.

A lot of people are predicting Casey James and Andrew Garcia. Sure, they’re very good. But overall, I think they pale compared to Lee and Mike.
But we’ll see. Who do you think will end up in the Top 5?
