Casting Crowns Performs at National Prayer Breakfast; Drummer Leaves To Pursue New Ministry

Casting Crowns performed this morning at the Thursday morning prayer breakfast in Washington. Thousands of guest attended the breakfast, which included Bible readings and prayer from members of Congress. Also in attendance were world leaders. For the first time in its 57-year history, the prayer breakfast was broadcast live over the internet.

In other Casting Crown news, the band announced on their blog that drummer Andy Williams is leaving to work full time with his wife Kelly in a band and ministry called Soul Sister Sally. Casting Crowns writes on their blog that they're happy for Andy and Kelly, and wish their bandmate the best, praying that God will use him in this new adventure.
