VIDEO: GoD and Dog, by songwriter Wendy Francisco

I got this song and video today via the email rounds. Normally I just ignore these chain emails but I'm so glad I didn't today. This one is a gem.

The song is GoD and Dog, by songwriter Wendy Francisco.

Wendy is the wife of Christian musician Don Francisco. (Fans of Christian music will remember his song, "He's Alive"; I saw him perform that at GMA during the McCain Guitar Pull one year. It was incredible.)

Together, the two run Rocky Mountain Ministries in Colorado, sharing the love of God without the trappings of religion, which if I can be honest, is really the only way to know Him.

To learn more about Wendy and Don Francisco, visit their website.

VIDEO: Zach Hunter talks about his hero, Keith Green

Seventeen-year-old Zach Hunter is an abolitionist and author with an already long history of reaching out to the needy. At just 12 years old, he launched the "Be The Change" campaign to get students involved in ending slavery. Through that, he raised thousands of dollars just by encouraging students to donate loose change. He's an international speaker and also the author of three books: Be The Change, Generation Change, and his latest, Lose Your Cool: Discovering a Passion that Changes You and the World.

In this short video, Hunter shares with Beliefnet why Keith Green is his hero.

I can see why Keith Green is one of Zach Hunter's heroes. As an abolitionist, Zach and Keith share a mission to be the hands and feet of Jesus, loving people the way He would, despite the consequences.

Here's a little background on Keith Green:

This is one of those bands that captures your heart because they're 1) talented, 2) adorable, 3) fun and 4) spiritually grounded.

Think Relient K pre-puberty. Think Hanson. Think cute kids and pop songs that will stick in your brain for days.
