Catherine Ponder is a master writer on the subject of prosperity. Her books and teachings are inspirational and provide a step by step action plan to let go of poverty consciousness and create prosperity consciousness in your life. They also work and create results. By using affirmations we link with the source of the universe and create the energy and vibration to attract whatever we want. Here is one of her wonderful affirmations and some of her philosophy from her book, ‘Open Your Mind to Prosperity‘:
‘I DO NOT DEPEND ON PERSONS FOR MY PROSPERITY. GOD IS THE SOURCE OF MY SUPPLY AND PROVIDES HIS OWN CHANNELS OF SUPPLY TO ME NOW.’
God is the Source of your supply; He is your banker, not people or conditions. Realizing that the basis of your prosperity is spiritual is a practical and powerful attitude that assures your financial success.
It is also important to understand the difference between being creative vs. being competitive. There is enough for everyone. Your highest good and truest possibilities cannot be taken from you. Everyone is where they need to be at any given moment. The cosmic plan, the divine plan is always working. This is where active faith and trust come in. Everything is unfolding in perfect, divine order.
By being creative, you attract to yourself the people, resources and circumstances in your life. You are a Mega Magnet, attracting whatever you radiate. Being creative is a prosperity consciousness. So choose the highest thoughts, words, deeds and outcomes because what you give out comes back. What goes around comes around.
We always have the choice to be creative or competitive. When we are competitive, we compete with others to win, to be number one, for the best job, parking place, spot of the team, the pretty girl, first on line, etc. All of this is actually poverty consciousness. It is saying that I have to beat someone else, that there is not enough for everyone, so I have to win. This is where jealously, envy and even hatred grow. Instead of being competitive with others, why not be creative and know that there is enough for everyone. That each of us is unique in the eyes of God and that each of us has our own unique place to fill where no one else can fill. Wish others success in their endeavors even in the same race, or contest or company. Cheer other people on and feel joy in their winning.
Also when we are being creative, we do not compete with others. Instead, we want to be the best we can be and grow and prosper. We want to consistently improve. Like Michael Jordan who focused on being better each and every game. He did not compare himself to others; instead he went out every game to do better than the game before. Being creative, is being present and in the flow. We know that there is enough for everyone and that our divine heritage cannot be taken from us by anyone else.
