As the year 2010 comes to an end over the holidays, people are busy and often caught up in the drama and hustle of the holidays. People want to create new goals for the upcoming year and get away from the challenges or even pain of last year’s outcomes.
First, before something new can be created, you must let go of the past…..let go of the old. Otherwise, there is no room to create something new.
How can you go from one trapeze to the other, if you do not let go of the trapeze you are holding on to? Life is the same; it requires letting go and a bold leap of faith toward a new trapeze.
You must let go of all belief systems, thoughts, words, feelings and behaviors of the old pattern. You must consistently keep letting go if any of the old pattern comes up.
Keep your focus on the present moment, on what is happening in front of you. Keep your thoughts, words and actions on what you want to create now.
It is a new moment. The present and the future do not equal the past…. Unless you choose to keep bringing the past into the present and re-create it.
Let it go…. Erase those tapes…. Start a completely new file.
