To succeed you need a vision and purpose that is bigger and more powerful than your own circumstances or reality to inspire you to create something new or to motivate you to go beyond any obstacle or limitation on your path.

Your vision and purpose statements should be short, clear, vivid and inspiring without using jargon or complicated words or concepts.  Your words must be powerful, compelling, engaging, memorable and easy to understand.

Your vision and purpose provide the inspiration for both your daily operations and your strategic decisions.  Your purpose is your reason for being.   Your vision statement provides your destination, where you want to go.  Your purpose drives you forward and is your reason why.  Your objectives and action steps focus you to make it happen.

The principle of focused attention dictates wherever you direct your focus is where your energy and creativity goes.  By writing your vision, purpose, objectives and action steps you make them real in the physical universe.  It clarifies your beliefs and thoughts, desires and resources.  Instead of keeping all this information in your head, by putting in on paper you make it easier to achieve your results and have greater objectivity.

When writing out your MEGA Plan, be aware and consciously select words that are expansive and truly represent what you want to manifest and experience.  If it is only a good idea but not your truth or burning desire, how will you tap into your passion and commitment to create it?  This is your time to shine and follow your dreams so listen to your intuition.  It is helpful to use a dictionary and look up the meaning of the key words you want to use.  Often times the meaning of words is different than you think.  

Vision and purpose are ongoing and expansive.  Your vision is what you see yourself creating, an image of the future that you seek to create.  It should be bright, colorful and full of life.  Your purpose is the reason why you are creating your vision.  It is your passion and burning desire that empowers you to move forward, effectively transcending any challenge or obstacle.  It is your reason why.  Having a magnificent and inspiring purpose is paramount to your success.  You may discover that your purpose is actually quite simple yet profound and it often relates to service.  One of our greatest callings is to be of service to others and make a difference in this world.

Goals or objectives are specific targets that calibrate your game plan.  They are markers to show you how well you are actualizing your vision and purpose and achieving your results.  Goals and objectives need to be specific and have dates and numbers so they can be reached and measured.

Action Steps are actual tasks that must be completed to achieve your objectives and create the outcomes you want.  They are the details that must be done to make your MEGA Plan happen.  They are the actions you must take consistently until you manifest your plan.

In order for you to succeed you must create and define the best possible game plan and strategy.  Then take focused and consistent action to achieve your goals and desired outcomes.  You  must be flexible to deal with what life presents as you move forward.  Usually there are unexpected and unplanned for twists and turns along your path.  Pay attention, because some of the best opportunities appear to be different than your original plan.  They also can show up as challenges or obstacles that turn into great opportunities.

An essential ingredient to achieving your results is having the discipline, determination and commitment necessary to win.  People fail because they lack a strong enough purpose to inspire them or the discipline necessary to consistently do the necessary tasks.  If your Game Plan is not working check your strategy before you doubt or change your vision and purpose.
