From the I Ching or Book of Changes by Brian Browne Walker;

The I Ching is more than just a book, it is a living, breathing oracle, an all seeing teacher.

It has survived for thousands of years and is regarded as the foundation text of Chinese wisdom and philosophy.  It was instrumental to sages such as Confucius.

Those who practice innocence, acceptance and detachment inherit joy in this world.

We often see around us how forcible effort brings about what appears to be progress.  Our egos tempt us to believe that these gains are lasting and valuable, but the truth is otherwise.  Whatever is won by the desirous, ambitious, demanding manipulations of the ego will soon be lost.  Others can always be temporarily browbeaten into doing things our way, but only hearts won by friendliness and sincere goodwill are true over time.

Joy and success cannot be forced or stolen.  They are achieved gradually, but steadily, by those who relate correctly to others and to the Higher Power.  To relate correctly means to steadfastly practice innocence, detachment, acceptance, modesty and gentleness.  Life is full of shortcuts, but this is the only route that leads to true joy.

Join with like-minded friends now in the discussion and contemplation of higher things.  If we engage in an ongoing conversation about proper principles with our friends, our relationship to truth is steady and our ego cannot seduce us into the doubt, fear and anxiety that lead away from joy.
 

In your heart, be firm in holding to what is good and honest and correct.  In your thoughts and actions, be gentle and accepting.  Those who persevere on this path will meet with true joy and lasting success.

What is your burning desire, your real passion deep inside your soul?  Go for it.

Stop complaining, or talking about your ‘problems’ or the world’s problems and start being positive.

As a good friend said recently, ‘Quit whining and go to work!’

Life is precious and time waits for no one.

Make this moment count.

So many people are focusing on the fear or limitations.

Focus on the positive possibilities.

Stop talking to people who do not support your dream.
Only share your dream which supportive and creative people. 

Life is a theater.
Be careful who you put in your front row.

More words of wisdom from Catherine Ponder’s ‘The Millionaire Moses’:

You must learn to claim your good in the face of opposition and in the midst of hard conditions.
We all deal with feelings of depression and discouragement that confront us when challenges arise to affect our dreams, desires and emotions.

These appear as problems and challenges.  There is nothing negative about having to overcome problems or to meet challenges in life.  They are experiences in growth.  You grow inwardly as well as outwardly. 
If you meet these situations in a certain way, they can cause you to grow into your expanded good and prosper.

1)   There are some problems that result from your own negative thoughts, words and actions.
When you begin to think, speak and act consciously and constructively upon the belief in omnipresent good, you overcome these problems quickly or at least progressively.

2)   There are also problems that result from the mere necessity for growth. By meeting these problems with conscious and constructive thoughts, words and actions you grow out of the problem into an increased understanding.  In the process, you have planted your roots deeply in the invisible realm of substance, which gives you a firm foundation for experiencing all of life’s blessings in ever-increasing ways.

Plato knew this when he spoke of the two kinds of blindness that affect mankind:

First, there is the blindness of going from light into darkness. 
This is the first kind of problem you have, caused by negative thinking.

Second, there is the blindness of coming out of the darkness into the light. 
These are problems in growth.

All of these problems, challenges and obstacles are blessings in disguise. These are times of soul-expansion into the light of increased understanding and use of one’s mind powers.

Although these two kinds of problems look alike, they are very different. Knowledge of this is your secret weapon for prosperity and success.

Every situation is full of good.  The greater the challenge, the greater the growth and benefit.

By blessing your challenges and obstacles and undertaking the lesson cheerfully, you grow more easily and are victorious!
