Quickie French Onion Soup

1. Peel and slice as many onions as you have and sauté in a little oil until brown.
2. Put cooked onion in a saucepan and add a package or 2 of instant onion soup mix and add the amount of water you need. You may want to add some more water to get the soupy consistency you want.
3. Simmer until done and then top with the grated cheese you like.
