Okay, those look nothing like the very first challah I made on my own (two weeks ago). Mine looked more like breadsticks. Sniff, sniff. Those are gorgeous!

This batch was disappointing, although we gobbled them up nonetheless. Too dense. Not sure if it’s the recipe or the method, though….
Amazingly enough, I’m already looking forward to baking next week’s challah.
