If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know that I have a new picture book coming out in the fall – The Shabbat Princess. I hope to be visiting some Jewish book fairs around the country in November, but while I’m waiting for those invitations to pour in I thought I’d take advantage of these lazy summer months to start promoting the book (which, while it isn’t officially out, is in fact out. Or in. As in “in” a warehouse. “In” boxes. “In” Minnesota.)

Here’s the deal. Invite me to your summer camp – sleepover or day camp – within 2 (or so) hours of Northampton, MA. All you need to do is pay for my gas and let my two kids do some fun camp stuff under my supervision. That’s all.  I’ll read my new book (or both my books, if you like), I’ll answer questions, and be generally charming. (You know, like in this picture.) If you want to host us overnight at your sleepover camp (especially for shabbat!) I’ll throw in something extra cool. I just don’t know what it is yet.

If you are interested, email me at homeshuling at g mail dot com. Serious inquiries only, please. And no band camps.

And now, the world premiere (really!) of the Shabbat Princess book trailer. I made it all by myself!
