Great review! I'm entertained even before the movie. Checking it out this weekend.
I, too, can't wait to see this! I've always admired how Mr. Perry worked "a message" into each of his films be it about finding out how good God is, self-esteem issues, abuse, following your heart, etc, so I am looking forward to this one. I live in the Hall of Fame City, however, and sadly, the movie didn't come to our town, but I stay on top of all reviews & can't wait for DVD!
Tyler Perry is a genius! He is a true testament to what God can do with just an ordinary person. He has surpassed all of his own expectations. The joy of it is that he is spreading his wealth of spiritual wisdom. Kudos to him!!
At first I was skeptic about the movie saying Tyler Perry needs to be in it to make the movie worth seeing. I was very wrong he is a genius behind the screen as well as in front of it. There's is only one word to describe this film and his work and that is "BRAVO!"
All I can say is that the movie was awesome!!! Have been to see it twice since it started to play at the theater!! The movie not only depict some that black men do take care of their kids, but also that some black women are not afraid to date a man who make less than they do!! Are are more than willing to stand by their man regardless of what people may say!!
Me and my companion went to see the movie again Tyler Perry has once again been blessed by the man above. I say keep doing what your doing. "Because you realize if you don't stand for nothing you'll fall for anything". keep on keeping on MR. Perry don't let know body tell you different of what GOD can't do. stay blessed, your sis in christ!!!!
I really think that it takes time to make a movie that can get to your heart.That movie will show you how a real man need to act.Mr.perry I think that you did a great job when you made this one
Mr. Perry bring out in this movie what is truly missing in a lot of people life. There are still some good value that a lot of today men are missing. Responsibility for God's gift meaning your children. Putting their lives before your own. Showing them value of believing in someone or something great than man.
I have been following Tyler Perry since the begining of his career. I love everything he has done. I will be adding this to my collection. Keep up the Good work TP May God continue to Bless you & give you much spiritual awareness than ever!!! Keep wrting about everyday life situations with God involved!!! I havent seen the movie yet but any time you mention tyler perry im ready to laugh!!! just like with the meet the browns ,i was concerned how t would be without madea but its one of my favorites and i know this'll be the same
I am so happy that a black man has made it the way he did. It should have not take a black man to make it for everyone to say that it is a good thing.If you look inside of your self and never give up on youdreams you can do the same thing. For anyone to put his work down and they are black they should be asham of his self. We are toobusy putting each other down this is why we as a people can not getany where.
i absolutely loved this movie. (as well as all of his other movies)
the messages that he puts into his movies are things people can actually take to heart and relate to. i get tired of all that other junk out there in movies. and it's nice to see someone with a purpose and good motive behind their work.
and i really liked the church scene in this movie. if anyone knows where i can find a clip of it on the internet. please let me know. i wanna post it on my myspace. i think it's something more people should hear.
