Paula Abdul's Jewish Life

Friday July 13, 2007

Categories: Celebrities, Celebrities

I knew Paula Abdul was Jewish, but in this video, she talks with two Orthodox rabbis at a Chabad house about lighting Shabbat candles, praying, and living Jewish, as they compliment her dedication and assure us it's real. Props to The Forward and the LA Jewish Journal for posting bringing this to our attention:

Poor Paula.

She was once a great dancer and a good singer, but many people are treating her as a joke. Do not watch her shows but hear them talking on talk shows about her. I hope this one gets better, because I was going to watch it on Bravo but it sounds like it maker her look foolish. Same with Idol.

Hope it all is a acting job, that she is paid well to let herself be remembered this way, and that if she has not lost her talent she starts to sing and dance again.

Yes, I feel glad she is Jewish and hope it helps!

Bar this Mitzvah with a bat! You Tu'Be she's really made "Jewish" her own...is she a contradiction or an (oxy)moron - what's up with the idol worship?
