Send Lindsay to Jail!

Tuesday July 24, 2007

Categories: Celebrities
Out of the "3 Bimbos of the Apocalypse" (as the New York Post calls Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, and Paris Hilton), I've always felt more sympathetic towards Lohan. She has a dad who's done his own share of jail time,...

Lindsay obviously needs to go to jail for a while, but then she also needs major drug counseling. She is following in her father's footsteps. It's so sad. She's literally throwing her life away and is so self-absorbed she doesn't know what living is really about.

Putting her in with the "general population" would be cruel and unusual punishment - possible a death sentence. She's a pretty young girld who is rich and famou. She would be harmed.

I think there are better ways of helping people like that.

Maybe a "scared straight" tour would be good for her, too. But take her through the women's section!

She needs Jesus.

When she hits rock bottom, she will seek the help she so desperately needs.

Send her to jail. She wants to take the risk of killing someone innocent, she needs jail.

it doesnt matter whether u r a celebrity or not you are responsible for your own actions no matter what ur background is. parents have a big role in a childs life but when they become older they are respomsible for their own actions and cannot blame them on anyone else.......this is harsh but it is realistic....my brother did drugs and got sent to a naval prison and our father had a mental illness and back in the day he stole unprescribed drugs from the pharmacy where he worked and was an alchoholic and physically abused my older siblings and my mother but he is totally transformed by God now and when my paretns divorced it tore me my brother and sister apart but nobody feels sorry for him and he hasnt made front page i nthe tabloids he had to pay for the things that he did and he is just coming home from the brig in florida after 9 months and he says this was the best thing for him so maybe prison is going to be good for Lindsey.

Yes, she needs to come down off her cloud of celebrity status and maybe then she wont lose everything like Britney Spears is. Scared to sober....

I don't see where she is too good to go to jail when she has "laughed"
in the face of anyone who has tried to help her.

Three times your out she has had enough time to make things right if she wants kill her self thats her call, but when she put's live's of others in danger it's time to lock her up just hope she is treated like a drunk and not like a star. Sad thing is we have to keep hearing about it over and over and over agin

Don't you guys understand it yet?

It isn't rehab --- It's life hab ----hab you got it yet?

These girls are scared...you can't scare them any more. They want to be loved, they want to be held, they want to be accepted as the beautiful young women they want to be!

Interesting that the people who say these girls need JC are the quickest to toss them in jail and throw away the key.

Whatever happened to mercy? These are sick people, not criminals.

I guess some wouldn't be so brave if it were them facing this.

I don't think sending Lindsay to jail will solve anything. If anything, it will make matters worse. I do, however, think she needs someone who genuinely cares about her to chaperone her and counsel her. I feel she is a victim that could very well end up like Marilyn Monroe and Anna Nicole, dead, if she continues her path of self-destruction.

If it was you or I we would be in jail right now!!!!

If u can't do the time, don't do the crime. Just cause she is getting famous, she ruining her life acting her age. She needs to grow the hell up.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!!!!!!! There is nothing to be gained from Lindsay Lohan going to jail. Jail will not rehabilitate her. What needs to happen is that the entire Lohan family get itself into counseling and work this out on their own with no press involved. That child is on her way to the bottom of the universe if her parents do not as a united MARRIED couple get beyond the past and get with the present. They are responsible befor God for what becomes of Lindsay and every one of their children. It is true of every married couple. My heart goes out to all of them. Lindsay claims she wants to broaden her acting reputation with "other projects".
Robin Williams has tried the same thing in venues other than comedy. None of them have amounted to a thing. People generally wanted to be uplifted by entertainment not dragged down farther than they already feel. Lindsay as a pole dancer is the last thing I ever want to see. Does she think Katherine Hepburn for whom she has claimed sincere admiration would have been seen in such a movie??? You set a standard for excellence and then you strive to achieve it. Lowering your standards only lowers you.

Celeberities have money and money can buy pretty much anything or anyone off. That is the problem and it isn't going to change. Money is what seperates us all. It is what defines most people and insures that they can get away with murder or at the very least out of a well deserved jail sentence. It is the system that is SICK...(environment)clearly this effects us all.

send her to jail. She will not learn anthing if someone gets her out of trouble all the time.if my parents did that for me or anyone eles I would not be where Im at today.People need to learn if they do something wrong they get in trouble for it.It dont matter what your backround is or who you know or who you are.Everyone should rank the same.

I think we should throw 98% of celebrities in jail; not for their drug use, but because they're annoying, lack morals and consciences, and view themselves as superior beings and on another level than the rest of the world. Who cares that Lindsay and Paris drink and drive? A lot of people I know drink and drive. I'm ashamed to admit I've even done it once or twice and you probably have too. I'm not saying that's a good thing - drinking and driving is WRONG. And I don't condone it. The point is, we all make mistakes. Brandy got in a car accident sober and killed someone. Didn't hear much from the media on that one - but I do know that it was her fault and she ended up taking someone's life. Shouldn't she be in jail? Or no because she wasn't drinking?

Anyway. If we're going to throw Lindsay in jail, let it be because she can't act worth crap. And while we're at it, can we please throw Tom Cruise in jail? The really scary celebs are the ones who worship aliens, people. And let's put Mel in there too - he's a bigoted jackass who thinks much too highly of himself, and more importantly, his movies SUCK.

Maybe we should just send all the celebrities to some secluded island somewhere and let them survive on nuts and berries. Without their coke, alcohol, pills, etc., they'll kill each other off in no time.

But, my point is, we make such a huge deal when these girls get caught for the same things a lot of people get caught for because when they're punished they get special treatment. But to me, that isn't a big deal. We all know celebs get special treatment. They have more money than all of us combined and they get free jewelry, makeup, handbags, cars, etc. We should be the ones getting the free stuff, you know?

The special treatment is what is it, girls and boys. It's there and it doesn't appear to be changing any time soon - And, don't let yourself believe Paris was an example of that type of change. We know she got special treatment in jail too. Forget the special treatment. Send these freaks to jail because they're weird, bitchy, self-absorbed bad actors who don't feel the need to contribute anything to society other than their surgically enhanced faces and bodies.

Except for Angelina who contributes by adopting so many children she will eventually need to hire a team of people in order to actually spend time with them.

we should not make excuses for our childrens mistakes she could have killed someones mother, father, sister, brother, grandmother or a infant than what excuse would you have to say about that. we raise our children the best that we can, this is unexceptable and money, fame, should not make a difference. i say put her *** in jail. we need to save the worker mothers and fathers lives whom have private life. i'm tired of this crap. stop letting these people get away with this s***. if that was me a unfamous human i would be in jail right now!!!!!!!! stop feeling sorry for the out of control alcoholic, pill popping, powder stiffing celebrity who can crash a car on saturday night and buy a new one on monday or should i say sunday. LOCK HER A** UP!!!!!!! THE JUDGES SHOULD DO THE JOB THAT THEY WERE HIRE TO DO. JUSTICE FOR ALL, WHETHER YOU ARE RICH AND FAMOUS OR A PRIVATE CITIZEN. IT ALL BOIL DOWN TO A LIFE, A INNOCENT LIFE.

I think that lindsey is a great kid, shes just caught up in all the fancy affairs of being rich at an early age. I loved her on all of her movies, and AS A MOTHER OF teens myself I understand that shes actually crying out for help but she does not know the right way to recieve it. I still dearly love her. and I also know that friends can persuade you to act in a way to impress others,by drinking, or doing drugs. or by having un-recognized problems, or problems you do not what others to know can cause internal pain. please lindsey seek private professional help. a caring mother, smiley!

What also amazes me is how so many people wanted to forgive Mel Gibson when he got pulled over for drunk driving, because he was such a "good" Xian.

I guess if Lindsay made a Xian movie, weryone would would to cuddle her and sing Kumbayah now.

is there anyone, who think that these people are above the law? my childhood wasn't the best and i am not self destructive. being poor(working from pay check to pay check or working two jobs) isn't making
me crazy,i'm not killing or robbing people and i'm sure as hell
not drivng drunk and taking drugs trying to hurt myself or anyone else. i feel sorry for her what forever the problem is, but there are rules for everyone this is a world of self destruction a lot of people have lost the faith in GOD. GOD WILL FORGIVE US OF OUR SIN SINCE HE SENT HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON TO SAVE US FOR OUR SINS AND LOOK AT WHAT WE ARE DOING FOR POWER AND MONEY LOOK AT THE WORLD IT'S ON THE NEWSEVERYDAY. MAN IS MAKING THE RULES AS TIME GO ON AND EACH INDIVIDUAL HAS THEIR OWN RULES.

The self proclaimed king of DUI “Danny Jacobsenz” from state of California has been caught and is currently facing trial. You are probably wondering if there is such thing as king of DUI, well apparently there is, this guy has had multiple violations dating back to 1999.
