Watch a video clip of the artists talking about life on the road, and a performance of their new song “Vision of You.”

UPDATE: Congratulations to Michelle D. from Springfield, MO. for her winning entry. She wrote, “By having access to [Shane and Shane's] music, it helped me make it through a very hard time of depression and homesickness, as I was spending time doing missions work in another country. When I came back to the states, the same ministry to my spirit continued as a result of the music from these guys. It helped me to make it through the transition back to what most people think of as the ‘normal’ world because of how it helped me to focus on the right things–God and His thoughts–not me and my thoughts.”

I have never heard anything so beautiful as Shane & Shane song “Vision of You”. I felt the Holy Spirit present as I listened to their Song.

Shane & Shane are modern psalmists who happen to plagiarize the ancient psalms quite a bit. Which is fine by God, according to His publicist. David, Asaph and the rest may very well take it up with them in court — the heavenly courts, that is.

i loved the songs u sung and wrote i believe the last song u was guided by the angels to right the song and for u to record it, i think its awesome when something pops in your head and say i like that tune and to make words to go with it its so spiritual feeling in the song and i would love to listen to some more where can u purchase your albums i am based in uk. i find all christian songs are soothing and relaxing when u have had a rough day and soothes the soul, and some of the words in the songs have so much meaning in them i like a song i can listen to the words as it says a lot in the words. carry on Gods Work, God Bless Peace and Light Carry Gods music to all deaf ears give them something to sit up to and think. There is a God who is loveing and forgiving God and the Angels happy to help in giveing u the inspiration u need to make new songs and new music. Carry on the good work u do.

My youth group and I attended the Alive Festival in Canal Fulton, Ohio this past summer and Shane and Shane were one of the many groups there. I was very impressed by the very simplistic, yet glorifying way they presented the Word through their songs. I also like the repoire that they have with one another. In today’s world of secularism whether it is music, song or some other medium, to be able to relate to all people whether they are Christians or not is very hard to do and I feel that these guys are right on. I believe that God has big things in store for them even more in the future. I will be praying for you ministry through music – Sheryl

I hadn’t heard of them either but I think their music would be great to listen to, as I am disabled and spend most of my time in bed. When I get up, I have a motorized wheel chair. Lindsay

I am a 46 year old wife, mother & grandmother. I have been in and out of church alot the last 20 years, tho I did go to church from 2nd grade at the invitation of my school teacher! and went there to her church from then, (dragging my 3 smaller siblings with me!) until my family moved when I was a sophmore in high school. As an adult I was baptized, became a member at wonderful spirit filled church, never missed a service, couldnt get enough, then ‘church politics’ took over and this blessedly spirit filled, loving & wonderful true man of God of a pastor was replaced by a man who later was found guilty of stealing from the church, was addicted to cocaine & was involved with a stripper, it busted the church apart. Well, I know thats no excuse for me NOT to seek another church. In the last few years,I have become physically disabled, not getting out much at all, but the christian music I have been listening to has been ‘my church’. I was so touched by the song “Vision of You”, I began to praise God for this blessing that appeared on my email!Anytime I was unable to go to church, I listen to my christian music, I dont have alot, but I love the contemparary christian music, southern gospel, bluegrass gospel, christian rock, any songs that touch my heart & soul and remind me of no matter what troubles, fears, disabilities, sadness comes my way, I ALWAYS have God looking over me,walking through all the turmoil & devastation beside me! And THAT comforts me! We used to have a Gospel singing @ our church (before our first pastor left) on the 5th sunday of each month, and then a dinner following. The singing was some of my favorite times at church, as the words & music to the songs talks to the soul & the heart like nothing else can~~~Besides our dear heavenly Father. May God richly bless you both Shane & Shane, and may He surround your bus with His angels as you travel across this beautiful country singing His praises and blessing SOOO many with your music, listening to your song it truly strengthened my faith! Thank you so very much!THANK GOD FOR YOU, SHANE & SHANE!!!!!! I hope to have the pleasure of getting one of your cd’s, so I can hear & be blessed by more of your songs!! God Bless you both!
In Christ Love,
Linda

I’ve never heard this particular group, but I DO listen to and share Christian music. I would give this album to my oldest son, Shane, because he’s struggling right now, and might respond by hearing The Good Message delivered via hip sounds from a group sharing his name!

“Inspired” is the first word that popped into my head when I heard “Jesus, Come!” Shane and Shane are AWESOME, and how he wrote such a “hip” version of Revelation’s holy, imploring phrase – “Jesus, Come” – can only be described as “inspirational.” I don’t listen to a lot of so-called Christian music, but when I hear one as beautiful as this, it makes me want to hear MORE, MORE, MORE! Keep up the Lord’s work of bringing the Message to unconverted hearts, and just maybe, they will BECOME converted! Because of this one song, I BELIEVE, and would LOVE to have their cd. Thank you for such a blessed way with words, and God bless you both.

There are many reasons I enjoy Shane and Shane’s music. I love the acoustic sound. I love the way thier voices blend and the way many of their songs are based on Scripture. The one thing that stands out to me is who they are. I know you can’t really know someone by just seeing them at a concert, but I believe you can get an idea. My mom and I went to a Shane and Shane concert a few years ago and I already loved thier music for all of the above reasons, but I left with a deeper respect for these talented young artists. What impressed me so much was the unassuming way they steped onto the stage. The humility and “We are real people too” persona they bring. It reminds me of the quality I admired most about Rich Mullins. At the end of the concert one thing they said stuck with me and I always recount it when I find someone who is discovering Shane and Shane. They said “There is a table in the back with some cd’s on it, but if that is an idol for you just walk on by” Mabey not in those exact words, but it was the idea that they cared more about connecting people to God than suporting themselves. That to me is the mark of a true minister. I think if I could sum it up in one word it would be Authentic.

I like their music because it is about Christianity values and beliefs. Their music is sort of like oldies soft rock and roll and fits in with my type of music.

I do not know the band what I do know is that Christian music is the best music to listen to because it is all clean and leads us to God.

I enjoy listening to Christian music and it lifts up my spirit. Not only it inspires me , it leads me to worship God. Christian music sets me free from the music that is inapproprate to all Christians to listen to. It is worth listening to daily.

The first time I heard Shane & Shane I didn’t even know who I was hearing. Then my friend told me how they were the only people that her church played for their worship music. Naturally that intrigued me and after listening to a few of their songs I was hooked. I generally find myself being very picky about the music that I listen to- it has to all be worship music that takes me into the throne room of God, and their music did that for me and all those that were around me. By having access to their music I was helped to make it through a very hard time of depression and homesickness as I was spending time doing missions work in another country. When I came back to the states, the same ministry to my spirit continued as a result of the music from these guys. It helped me to make it through the transistion back to what most people think of as the “normal” world because of how it helped me to focus on the right things- God and His thoughts- not me and my thoughts. I have continutally been blessed by their music since then as I listen to it and take the opportunity to introduce it to others around me. Sometimes I find it to be more of a blessing to just see how their music blesses and ministers to others than just how it helps me. My prayer is that in all that they do that Shane & Shane would continue to be able to focus completely on God and just spending time ministering to Jesus and worshiping at His throne and at His feet.

I like this group because they are not AFRAID to show and let people know what they beleive in. They are real, not like some who will say they are Christians, and then not act like it. The people that are two faced remind me of Paul in the Scriptures before he turned to Christ. These two are willing to stand for what they beleive in no matter what others may think. They like to let people know that there music is For the Glory of God, and that we should all live our lives like that. Besides Christain Music as far as I am concerned is the only music to listen to.
Thank you and God Bless,
Theresa Kinniburgh

I just started listening to Shane and Shane about two months ago. There music is so spirit led. Most of their songs come strait from the wonderful word of God. I love their CD “Psalms”. Its amazing how they make the living word of God TRULY come alive in your heart. I actually got “Psalm 143″ as a tattoo on my wrist after hearing Shane and Shane praise with that particular scripture. To God be the Glory!
