Synopsis
"O Jerusalem" re-creates the struggle surrounding the creation of the State of Israel in 1948. At the center of these events are two young American friends--one Jewish, the other Arab. The film is told from the alternating viewpoints of the Jews, Arabs, and British, all of whom collide in their fight for the control of Jerusalem. Their involvement takes them from the streets of New York to The Holy Land, where they risk their lives to fight for what they believe in, as the city of their dreams teeters on the brink of destruction. The film is based on historical accounts from the best-selling novel of the same name, written by Larry Collins and Dominique Lapierre.

I actually have that book; a friend of mine's uncle is mentioned in it several times. I probably would prefer it as a documentary, but will see it before I pass judgment on it.
From the trailer of this movie I find it very interesting and informative to the facts that have plagued Isreal for years. Another fact that the Arab nations refuse to admit is that they are brothers to the Hebrews. The hatred between them stems from thousands of years ago.
does anyone know when this movie will premiere and will it be in the theaters or available on dvd for purchase or rental.
enjoyed the trailer clip....
I was only 13 when Israel came into being.
I have been to the State of Israel two times, and look forward to my next and because of age last.
Is there any to obtain this wonderful film in DVD to show others in our group? We live 100 miles from the nearest movie theater
G-d continue to bless our people.
