Too bad she doesn’t represent Christianity well. She dresses like a bimbo. Gone are the days of her strong woman character off of Northern Exposure. What happened to modesty?

Sorry, all I can say is that I was a fan of “Northern Exposure”. Haven’t seen the website and haven’t, frankly, seen her dressing like a *bimbo* either. Why does it seem that some Christians, or those who claim to be Christ followers, judge others so harshly? With such seemingly unforgiveness? I hope her Christian yoga video catches on. I need to de-stress and get some exercise. And the saints said, “AMEN”!

“Northern Exposure” was one of the “great” shows on TV. It had a lot of spiritual and religious threads that ran thoroughout the show, as well as good fun. As to yoga and Christianity mixing it up? Whatever floats her boat. She was great in the one show she starred in.
As to dressing as a “Bimbo?” Just what would be that exactly and why would someone else care?

Just read her website. If that is dressing like a “bimbo” I think I’ll follow her example! I was impressed with her life decisions, and her past and current projects. She is a bright woman.

Like the late great G. K. Chesterton once wrote when asked to write a thesis on what is wrong with the world. He agreed to do it, just simply wrote “I AM”. If we all, of all faith’s took this viewpoint and saw our own faults instead of looking at others, and tried to live peacefully amongst one another, what a beautiful world. There will be some cynic out there that calls me Pollyanna, but oh well. And as far as Janine Turner looking like a bimbo, I think she looks fantastic, seems she hasn’t aged a bit. God bless her and her Christian Yoga.

Okay, number one, here basic christianity 101, Do not judge less you be judged in the same measure! Please! Jesus could not judge himself. God is the one and only judge! Now, about yoga, what exactly is involved with yoga? Stretching, a form of exercise, like aerobics. Next, we have meditation, okay so people do this and it is not God-centered. Who created our bodies and our minds? Does he say to take care of our temple(body)and to meditate on his word? Meditation was founded by God if you will, so, what is the big deal? Are we steeling the idea of yoga and putting a christian name on it? Who Steels? The Bible says that satan came to steel, kill, and destroy. He can’t create anything! No other has died and arose from the grave!

Does adding the word christian make yoga more palatable to ignorant people. Will regular old yoga cast a demon upon you? is your faith so weak that outside spiritual influences will hurt you. I am sure that Yeshua Ben-Yosef (Jesus in Greek)knew about yoga in the ancient world since Yogis traveled the trade routes and most likely being a Rabbino learned some things from these guys. After all Judaism is an eastern religion. Even the Jewish Bible has been tampered with by gentiles for two thousand years to make it more pagan and flavorable for gentiles. Even this sacred text has been changed to make it more christian. My question for christians is this “How can you be a christian and follow in Yeshua’s footsteps when you don’t follow a traditional Jewish way of life?” I will tell you this no Orthodox Rabbino like Yeshua would eat bacon, watch football on saturday and come up with a new Hebrew Yoga. This I know put the name christian on it and you have a captive revenue base to sell to!

Yoga is a spiritual path that Hindhus follow to realize God Consciousness. Yoga cannot be separated from its Hindhu roots. The god Siva is the Lord of the yogis. He is worshipped by Hindhus and yogis.
Before coming to Christ I studied, practiced and taught yoga for 14 years. I lived in a Yoga Ashram with a Hindhu guru and travelled all over India.
Yoga opened doors for me to the demonic realm. I had some very frightening experiences. I had a very powerful encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ and was delivered. When I came to Christ I
completely forsook yoga in all its forms. Personally I know that as a Christian I cannot practice yoga. If you truly love the Lord Jesus and
ask Him for wisdom reguarding Yoga and search out the scriptures, He will guide you by His Holy Spirit into all truth and you will know what to do.

Yoga is not limited to hindus christians or muslims.
Yoga is the most ancient practice and is a way to keep the body healthy only and nothing else.
Yoga helps opening up the chakras of the body and to awaken the kundalini shakthi, and YES Yoga originated from Hinduism
