Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who introduced the Fab Four, as well as a number of other celebrities, like Mia Farrow and David Lynch, to the benefits of Transcendental Meditation, has died. Check out the 1968 video clip below where the Beatles accompany Maharishi to the city of Rishikesh where the spiritual leader had an ashram.

Little do people know but, after some time George and John got to know what a real Guru was and ended up with a song called “Fool on The Hill” about the TM founder. After that George found Bhaktidhanta Swami Prabhupada and the rest is pretty well documented history, with songs like “My Sweet Lord” with the Hare Krshna mantra woven in to the song, etc. Swami Prabhupada was their real, genuine Guru. My sincere hope is that the Maharishi is on his way forward and upward in his march toward the spiritual kingdom of god. That is my prayer. Thank you. Greg B. San Diego
