The Buddha means The awakened one....he is in the now and aware. As we chant we send out a vibration...that which we are. We are everything
the universe is within us, God is within us. We go out and create and manifest.....peace, beauty, that which is now within us. SGI Buddhist practice teaches all this. Happiness is the journey, within, and and benefits come from within and exterior as secondary. You and your environment are One.
I'm grateful for your writing this synopsis, a job well done.
I've studied all religions, and there is TRUTH in all of them, how could there not be? Unless you left GOD out of His own Universe! I believe everything the Buddha says, I believe he was called, 'The Enlightened One'....and I understand. I stand firmly with the Christ though because of the LOVE. The Buddha had great compassion, but the Christ had the LOVE,...and the bottom line in all things is LOVE, because THAT IS GOD! I've experienced this LOVE and also the Universal Light and Sound, and the Universe WITHIN, which is exactly like the Universe withOUT. So both paths are consciousness lifting,( or vibration.) Am familiar with Eckart also, love his consciousness. We can incorporate both into our thinking and daily lives. As our consciousness rises, and vibrations become lighter,...the all encompassing LOVE envelopes you and you become IT ...like the unfolding of a rose. It's all in your level of consciousness....and I will stop for now.
God is good. God is Love. God is the Universe, you, here and above. Strive for the good and Evil shall dwell in the never. God is forever.

I was going to four churches growing up. Catholic, Science of Mind, Church of Chist and my Uncle's Mormon church. They all spoke about God. Most discounted every other religion but their own as the true way. At an early age I realized that until we all come together with the Love and Truth the old passages are expressing in all religions Man will miss the reason for being here on Earth. By eight an Aunt of mine taught me meditation. At last I had peace. I recommend everyone be still and get to know themselves fully. The book,
