Watch Video: Jenny Burton Performs ‘I Stand For You’

posted by dross | 10:05am Monday April 7, 2008

If you’re a dance music fan, you may remember Jenny Burton from her days in C-Bank, the band behind the 80s freestyle hit, “One More Shot,” which topped the dance music charts. Burton also found success soon afterwards as a solo artist with her hit “Bad Habits.”
After that, Burton redefined herself as an inspirational artist. And, after 10 years playing with her band The Jenny Burton Experience, she decided it was time to concentrate on her solo career and return to her roots as a gospel artist (her mother pastored a church in the South Bronx.)
Check out Burton perform her song, “I Stand For You” off her 2007 album, “I Think On These Things…”.

Wow, I couldn’t believe how Jenny has truly triumphed over the years after listening to her latest cd; I Think On These Things. It is very exciting to watch her cross over into Gospel as it is much needed for the times we are living in. I am so looking forward to seeing this wonderful artist perform live once again. You haven’t officially been blessed until you’ve seen Jenny Burton perform on stage…
