Who knew a Narnian prince was a triple threat?
Before he landed his first Hollywood lead role, actor Ben Barnes (Prince Caspian in the new "Narnia" movie sequel) was singing and dancing in a British boy band called Hyrise. Performing the mildly racy song "Leading Me On," Hyrise competed to represent the UK in 2004 during the annual Eurovision Song Contest (think "American Idol" meets "Making the Band").
Perhaps we'll see Barnes in a movie musical in the near future--"Oklahoma," anyone?
Watch a YouTube clip of Ben Barnes talking about Hyrise and belting out "Leading Me On."

OMG!!! WHEN I FIRST SAW HIM ON DISNEY CHANNEL BEING INTERVIEWED BY THE DISNEY MOVIE SURFERS (AND I SAW HIM IN THE MOVIE THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA:PRINCE CASPIAN)I JUST THOUGHT HE WAS PERFECT! HE'S ON MY COMPUTER SCREEN. i COULD JUST STARE AT HIM ALL DAY IF I WANTED!!!
Ben is awesome!!! He did a great job in the movie and he is definitely Prince Caspian. I can hardly wait for the next movie to come out.
First of all I think it is great that Ben got the part in the narnia movie. I hope it does wonders to his career and it probably will. Although I am sure it will be shocking for him as well to be this famous and swooned over by a bunch of teenage girls. As for him being in a boy band that was just for fun and now it would be embarrasing for him for sure.
I really wanna make a movie with Ben! I love him =P
I He is my inspiration/rolemodel/celebrity crush, and he has a great personality, and he's a great actor.
and not to mention a beautiful person , he totally fits into the category of tall dark and handsome, yet somehow bubbly. I Internal charm, and external beauty.
Could we ask for more? Not really. I have an obsession. And I know it's creepy.... BUT HE'S SO CUTE!
Orlando, make way for a true prince charming.
He makes you look hopelessly unattractive, personality, hair, and eyes. And he's an inch taller than you, too.
You've just lost so many fan girls.....
HAPPY BELATED B-DAY, BEN!
