I would choose that new song “No Air” by Chris Brown and that AI chick.
This song reminds me so much how i feel for my wife.

I would say that I would have to choose the song, Stronger Woman
by Jewel because considering the fact that my husband Rob & I
were fortunate enough to have four lovely daughters’ certainly made me a stronger woman throughout these past thirty years. And I certainly hope that our daughters, ages 28, & 25 who are mother’s with children of their own and our other two daughters’ who are 23 & last but not least our youngest daughter who is 18 that just graduated from High School become stronger women as well. They have certainly made us proud parents. Speaking of Chris Sligh, we enjoyed watching him on American Idol. He is a wonderful performer. We have watched AI for 7 seasons now and we would love to see him perform on AI again. And if not we would love to have a copy of his cd.

I would dedicate “Can’t Smile Without You” by the Carpenters to my husband. That was our song while dating. We have been married for 27 years and have three children. I have had some health issues including fighting breast cancer and I don’t know what I would have done without the support of my husband to get me through. He had to do many things a husband would have said they didn’t want to do but he did it without complaining. For example, he gave me a bath and helped me shave my legs. He changed my bandages when I couldn’t bring myself to look. Even though we have met trying times in the past few years, we could not imagine being without each other.

If I was to dedicate a song to someone it would have to be “Empty Me” and dedicate it to my one and only Savior, Jesus Christ!!
After hearing that song, I realize that is what I need to do every morning that I awake. Ask Christ to ‘empty me of this selfishness inside’ and fill me up with Him.

I first heard this song on “Last Call with Jeremy Hovies” on Sirius satellite’s “OutQ” and fell in love with its existence as an “anti-Christmas-Song” Christmas song.
Modern Christmas songs (as opposed to traditional Christmas Carols) are if you listen closely enough rather depressing odes from people lost in fantasies of how Christmas is “supposed to be.”
But the singer who “will be home for Christmas” didn’t assume he’d have it except for in his dreams. And most people forget that “White Christmas” is warbled from someone “in Beverly Hills, El Ayyyy” wanting to be where they aren’t. My favorite fantasy phrase in White Christmas is actually “And children listen.” (In my experience, they never do.)
So while the music of “Xmas Ain’t Coming” has the requisite string section and modern rock Christmas song accoutrement’s, it’s a seemingly sad ode to being alone and away from ones love. (Not necessarily true love, but why be depressed even more about it.)
Two of the greatest loves of my life moved away from South Dakota in 2005. One to Reno and the other initially to Florida but now in Nebraska. I dedicate

Whether holidays are truly meaningful or not, they are the chance to share something with whomever makes you happy. But in the Prozac deadened world where it’s now an anti-Christian act for stores to suggest that “Happy Holidays” exist for other religions … it’s taken for granted that December 24th and 25th are for many “just-another-days.”
Not just being alone and missing someone, (though it’s compounded even more if a loved one or relative died closer to Thanksgiving or Christmas or Valentines Day), there are people who just get to watch others enjoy whatever they’re enjoying be it Hanukkah, Boxing Day, Kwanzaa or Ramadan. Not everyone gets presents, or cards, or kisses under the mistletoe in front of a roaring fire.
The mistake in interpreting “Xmas Ain’t Coming” is missing the fact that it’s a love song, similar to one that kicks off Al Franken’s ultimate codependent comedy Stuart Saves his Family”: “I want to be happy, but I can’t be happy til I make you happy too.”
Christmas is not for single people or long distance romance. But if you’re remembering your lover while wearing their clothing or perfume/cologne … it is Christmas.

If i could dedicate a song it would be to my grandson Clay, age 7, whom i am raising. i dont know if the one was written yet but it would say much i love him, that i would do anything for him and always be there, to give him the strength to make it through the anger and emotional troubles of being rejected and neglected at the age of 5, to help him have a normal life even without parents, and even tough i am a somewhat boring old lady, that he can enjoy life with what we have, that he can be a successful sonebody someday like the doctor or lawyer he wants to be—by keeping a positive attitude, a lot of hard work, and much help for Our Creator above!!!

I would dedicate School’s Out for the Summer to all of my fellow teachers because we deserve to celebrate another year!

Wow!! I remember Chris from the show.

I would dedicate If I Didn’t Have You by Amanda Marshall to Jason. He’s been there for me through everything. If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be here today. He had help me get my life in order. This song reminds me so much how i feel about him.

I would dedicate Chris’s song “Vessel” to my grandfather who passed away from cancer in January. My grandpa was an amazing person, always laughing and cracking jokes even when he was sick. I miss him a lot but this song reminds me that life is precious and our lives are all at Gods will.

It is great that Chris has chosen to share his talent singing about Jesus and God the father. I wish him much success in his endeavor.
